Characteristics

BONDRITE  D1003 is a high-quality, easily applied one part acid-curing silicone sealant that reacts with atmospheric moisture to form a durable, elastic seal.

Excellent heat resistance (continuous up to 250 °C, for short periods up to 300°C)

Oxime curing system:  neutral smell, non sag

Readily gunnable at low temperatures  (+5 °C) and high (+40°C)

 Flexible at low (-40 C) and high (+250°C)

Applications

BONDRITE D1003 is a high-performance sealant designed for sealing, bonding and mending tasks where heat resistance is required, such as furnaces, fireplaces etc. The sealant can be applied by either hand or machine to seal a wide variety of substrates, such as glass, coated glass, ceramic tiles, enamel, painted surfaces (wood and others), aluminum, steel and many plastics. In some cases, metal and plastic substrates require primming before BONDRITE D1003 is applied
