Epoxy Adhesives

Epoxies are not new technology. They have been well proven in the market place over many years and can be either one or two part curing systems. The general system is a 1:1 ratio available in 50 and 400ml twin cartridges. However, other rations such as 5 and 10 to 1 products are not uncommon. Single component heat curing epoxies are also available where heat is already available in the production process and an activator is not required to cure the epoxy.

Methacrylates

Methacrylates are far more modern and provide the next stage in structural adhesive technology. They are much more flexible than epoxies in general and can bond a wider range of substrates more sucessfully, such as a wide variety of plastics and metals.
